Job Description: .NET Application Developer
Location: Erie PA
Rate: $60 -$65/hr
Role: Application Developer / Technical Lead Primary Skills: .NET Microservices AWS REST APIs Containers CI/CD Role Summary We are looking for an Application Developer with 1012 years of experience in enterprise application development and modernization. The candidate will be responsible for modernizing legacy/ applications into cloud-native microservices and migrating/replatforming applications to AWS.
Required Technical Skills
1012 years of software development experience with strong hands-on expertise in C# .
Strong experience with Core Web API Entity Framework / EF Core and development.
Proven experience in monolith-to-microservices modernization.
Experience with legacy application assessment refactoring replatforming and modernization.
Hands-on experience developing and deploying applications on AWS.
Strong knowledge of:
o Microservices architecture and design patterns
o REST APIs
o Domain-driven design concepts
o Docker and containerization
o Kubernetes/EKS or ECS
o Messaging and asynchronous processing
o SQL and relational databases
o NoSQL concepts
o Authentication and authorization
o Application caching
o Logging monitoring and observability
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitHub Actions AWS CodePipeline or equivalent.
Experience with infrastructure automation/IaC such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation is preferred.
Strong understanding of cloud security IAM secrets management networking and application configuration.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to understand complex legacy applications and translate them into modern architecture.
Strong verbal and written communication.
