Med/Surg RN- Scottsbluff NE

Location : Scottsbluff NE 69361

Project Duration : 13 weeks

Pay range : $55 $57 per hour

Shift : Varied

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide safe compassionate and high-quality patient care while working collaboratively with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable Med Surg RN who is adaptable patient-focused and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients.

Assess patients monitor vital signs and identify changes in patient condition.

Develop implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans.

Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.

Perform patient assessments and document clinical findings in the electronic medical record.

Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses medications treatments and discharge instructions.

Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.

Follow hospital policies procedures infection-control standards and patient-safety protocols.

Prioritize and manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced environment.

Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns when necessary.

Support a positive and professional patient-care environment.

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.

Current BLS certification from an approved provider.

Recent Med Surg experience in an acute-care hospital setting.

Strong clinical assessment critical-thinking and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple patient-care responsibilities.

Previous travel nursing experience is preferred but not required.
