Job Summary

Be part of a team to establish an energy-related vision for the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. This position would collect information from different departments to provide comments regarding impacts of watershed function and fisheries and wildlife population impacts as it relates to energy-related projects across The Deschutes John Day Umatilla Hood River Willamette and Middle Columbia River basins. Track energy projects through Oregon and Washington provide written comments at various stages of development and provide guidance to tribal leadership to potential impacts to Treaty reserved rights because of these energy projects. Experience in planning/project management and tracking milestones. Facilitating public meetings reviewing and commenting on NEPA projects and documentation.

Requirements

A bachelors degree in environmental science planning energy management environmental policy or a related field AND five years of similar experience; or A masters degree in environmental science planning energy management environmental policy or a related field AND three years of similar experience. Submit and pass a criminal background check with Federal Tribal and State Law Enforcement. Will also be required to submit and pass a pre-employment alcohol and drug screening.
