Job Summary
Essential Responsibilities
- Responsible for the purchase and delivery of several class A/B components (60% of weekly activity). This responsibility spans planning (planned order release) to material receipt and supplier payment.
- Drive problem solving relative to two teams KPIs. Creating visualization tools and leading Problem Solving Reports to improve the metrics. Other team members will be driving PSRs on the other KPIs.
- Develop knowledge of supplier manufacturing processes as well as factory purchasing and manufacturing to support projects specific to improve delivery execution
- Utilize lean methodology to drive process control and standard work relative to supplier and strategy performance. Support Fulfillment Leader in institutionalizing the Standard Work with the team.
- Partner with Master Scheduler to create or enhance operating mechanisms to look upstream for pending requirements and drive engineering / manufacturing / sales to ensure sourcing is given adequate cycle to procure material.
- Partner with Master Scheduler on ECO coordination making sure the appropriate Buyer is aware and knows the details and is able to support the request. Participate in weekly MOC meeting to communicate FPQs and feed back to Sourcing the planned BOM/Routing changes that affect the team.
- Synchronize activities with the Global Fulfillment Operations leader to drive one voice from Fulfillment to strategic sourcing to make overall improvements
- Participate as a dotted line resource to the Global Operations Team driving one or two global projects to help all WIND procurement operations.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Oracle Races SAP Powermax and PLM experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing sourcing or engineering
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university

- Domain expertise in using Renewables System include: SAP Oracle Corella MOS Service Now ..etc
- Program management skills with Horizontal teams
- Strong interpersonal communications and negotiation skills with ability to influence at all levels of internal GE and external suppliers
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills; strong PC and database management skills
- Ability to work well under tight deadlines and frequently changing priorities
- International business experience
