Job Description/ Responsibilities :

Manage enterprise MySQL database environments to ensure consistent availability reliability and secure access for critical business applications and analytics users. -Administer database instances by performing configuration capacity planning patching and structured upkeep activities that maintain Eligible to workimal performance and stability. -Monitor database health using approved observability tools and respond proactively to performance anomalies resource saturation and emerging risks in production and nonproduction environments. -Eligible to workimize complex SQL queries and schema designs to reduce response times improve throughput and support data workloads that scale with growing transaction and reporting demands. -Implement robust backup and recovery strategies that safeguard transactional data meet recovery time and recovery point objectives and support validated restoration procedures for business continuity. -Execute controlled change management for database deployments including schema changes parameter tuning and rollout of new instances within defined governance and compliance frameworks. -Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to design data solutions that align MySQL configuration with security policies capacity projections and integration patterns across platforms. -Conduct root cause analysis for database related incidents and implement corrective actions that prevent recurrence and enhance overall operational resilience. -Document database standards operational runbooks and support procedures to create reusable references that improve onboarding knowledge transfer and audit readiness. -Support data migration and upgrade initiatives by planning cutover steps validating data consistency and coordinating timelines with product and operations stakeholders. -Apply security hardening guidelines to MySQL environments by managing access controls encryption features and compliance checks that protect sensitive business information. -Engage in continuous improvement activities by assessing emerging MySQL features industry practices and internal feedback to refine database administration processes. -Coordinate hybrid work interactions through structured meetings remote collaboration tools and onsite engagements as required to ensure smooth delivery across global teams.
