Pay: $110000.00 - $155000.00 per year

Location: Tinton Falls NJ. This is a hybrid opportunity with 3 to 4 days per week in our office offering a great balance of in-person collaboration and flexibility for the remainder of the workweek.

Note: Candidates must have an active New Jersey Bar license in good standing and 2 years of experience practicing municipal law local government law and/or labor law. Experience in at least one of these practice areas is required.

Job Description

• Handle and support municipal local government and/or labor law matters providing practical legal guidance and strategic solutions.
• Conduct legal research and prepare motions briefs legal opinions agreements and other legal documents.
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs provide legal advice and develop effective strategies.
• Assist with litigation negotiations hearings and dispute resolution as applicable to assigned matters.
• Collaborate with fellow attorneys on complex legal questions and case strategies.
• Manage assignments efficiently while maintaining strong communication and high-quality legal work.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Bar admission in good standing is required.
• 2 years of municipal law local government law and/or labor law experience is required.
• Strong legal research writing analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters meet deadlines and work collaboratively.
• Sound legal judgment professionalism and a client-focused approach.
• Ability to work in our Tinton Falls office 3 to 4 days per week.

• Salary Bands (Only if attorney role):
• 2 to 3 yrs: $110K to $125K;
• 4 to 6 yrs: $125K to $140K;
• 7 yrs: $140K to $155K. Recruiter-estimated bands based on client-stated overall range.
