ISSAC is a TK-8 independent charter school which emphasizes STREAM Mandarin/Chinese Japanese and Spanish Project-Based Learning and a Social-Emotional Learning Framework (SELF). We aim to provide educational programming ensuring student progress and advancement with student-directed differentiated instruction and project-based opportunities for collaboration and experiential learning. Candidates should have a strong background in planning standards-based lessons and deliver lessons with effective student-directed classroom management skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working with English language learners with an English Learner (EL) authorization credential and will have extensive expertise in providing differentiated instruction for high achieving and at-risk students including targeted intervention based on ongoing data analysis.
