Job Summary

Multi-Site Veterinarian General Practice Berlin MD

A growing veterinary organization is seeking a Traveling Veterinarian to provide clinical support across multiple veterinary locations within a regional service area. This role is ideal for a flexible and adaptable veterinarian who enjoys working with different teams practices and patient Traveling Veterinarian will provide high-quality companion animal care while supporting hospital coverage needs. The position offers opportunities to work with multiple veterinary teams utilize modern medical resources and contribute to consistent patient and client care across locations

Responsibilities
  • Provide veterinary coverage at designated practice locations based on operational needs.
  • Deliver high-quality patient-centered veterinary care at each assigned location.
  • Perform wellness examinations sick visits diagnostics dental procedures and surgeries as appropriate.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and communicate recommendations clearly to clients.
  • Promote preventive medicine and compassionate low-stress patient handling.
  • Collaborate with veterinarians technicians assistants and practice leadership at each location.
  • Support hospital teams in maintaining efficient workflows and high standards of patient care.
  • Properly use and maintain veterinary equipment and resources.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and comply with established clinical protocols.
  • Promote a positive collaborative work environment across assigned practices.
  • Adapt quickly to different teams workflows and practice environments.
  • Comply with applicable federal state and local veterinary laws and regulations.
  • Travel between designated veterinary locations as required.
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree.
  • Active veterinary license in good standing in applicable states.
  • DEA and controlled substance registrations as required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical veterinary experience.
  • Surgical and/or dental experience preferred.
  • Comfortable performing anesthesia and sedation procedures.
  • Ability to accommodate wellness sick urgent and same-day appointments.
  • Emergency or urgent care experience is a plus.
  • Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and client-service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and comfortably serve as the primary veterinarian when needed.
  • Highly adaptable and comfortable working with different teams and practice environments.
  • Willingness and ability to travel between assigned locations.
  • Commitment to continued professional development and low-stress patient care.
  • USDA accreditation may be required for supported states.
