Job Summary
The Middle School Assistant Cross Country Coach is responsible for maintaining a focus on the teams development and continuous improvement throughout the season by directing student athletes at practice during transportation at other schools or other locations. The coach is a primary role model of coaching for our staff parents community and students and promotes and projects leadership qualities for all student-athletes.
DeWitt Public Schools Head Program Coach and the Middle School Athletic Director
- Knowledge of coaching cross country
- Must be at least 18 years of age and a High School graduate
- Two (2) or more years of coaching experience preferred
- Knowledge of strength and conditioning
- Quality communication skills
- Basic knowledge of first aid
Compensation to be paid per DEA Contract Schedule B
Seasonal assignment
Internal: Monday August 10 2026; 4:00 pm
External: Monday August 17 2026 or until filled
