Job Description:
Provides health care services applying pulsed radio-frequency waves and magnetic energy to assist diagnosis or treatment.
Participates in an on-call schedule as required. Performs magnetic resonance procedures computer processing and related techniques producing images for the interpretation by a Radiologist or a licensed independent practitioner.
Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.
Recognizes various patient conditions in order to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.
Requirements:
Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in radiologic technology or magnetic resonance imaging
Current Advanced ARRT Registry Required in MRI or eligible and obtain advanced registry within one (1) year of hire date
Current BLS
One year of related experience
