Position Summary:

• Performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations todemonstrateanatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by or at the request of a licensed practitioner.

• Ensures patient safety and comfort during care and reviews images to provide quality diagnostic imaging.

• The MRI Technologistis responsible fortraining andassistingnew MRI Technologists.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate ofrecognizedapproved AMAcouncilof Education program in radiological technology.

• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).

• MRI Certification.

• Requires currentBLS.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Utilize MRI equipment to produce images ability to work independentlyand ability to exercise judgement and make decisions

• Excellent communication skills to communicate with patients physicians clients coworkers and management staff

• Ability to perform in a high productivity fast-paced environment ability to document accurately and conciselyand excellent phone and computer skills

• Ability tomaintainsensitive information in confidence

• HIPAA and OSHA knowledge

COMPENSATION & TOTAL REWARDS:

The hourly range for this position is$39.50 - $48.29.Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education work experience certificationsgeographic locationetc. Final compensation isdeterminedbased on education experience certifications and geographic factors.
