How youll contribute

AnMRI Technologistwho excels in this role:

• Educates patients regarding procedures equipment and exams to ensure patients understanding and cooperation.
• When ordered prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
• Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.
• Prepares equipment and supplies. Selects appropriate imaging parameters. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.
• Troubleshoots resolves and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.
• Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.
• Troubleshoots resolves and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.
• Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s).
• Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results.
• Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues including repositioning patient and repeating procedure.

What were looking for

Education: Graduated from an ARRT JRCERT ARMRIT or NMTCB accredited program in Radiologic Technology Radiation Therapy MR or Nuclear Medicine required. Associates degree preferred.

Experience:1 year in Radiologic technology Radiation Therapy MR Nuclear Medicine or CT procedures preferred.

Certifications: Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) required; ARRT JRCERT ARMRIT or NMTCB registry in Radiology Radiation Therapy MR or Nuclear Medicine Registry required. ARRT Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) required (within 1 year hire/transfer)

Hourly range:$41.61 - $64.32
