About the Role We are seeking an MRI Technologist for a 13-week contract opportunity in Morristown VT. This role is responsible for operating MRI equipment producing diagnostic-quality images and supporting patient safety and comfort throughout each scan.
Responsibilities
Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging
Explain procedures clearly to patients before scans
Position and immobilize patients properly on the exam table
Monitor patients during imaging under physician direction
Review images to ensure they meet diagnostic quality standards
Follow MRI safety protocols and use proper protection measures
Maintain accurate imaging documentation and support department workflow
Requirements
ARRT(MRI) certification required
Vermont state license required upon acceptance
MRI Technologist or Radiologic Technologist experience accepted
Ability to work day/varied shifts
Strong patient care communication and attention-to-detail skills
Knowledge of MRI safety standards and image quality requirements
