Type: Local contract

Hours: 36 hours weekly rotating

Location: Radnor PA

Dates: June 15 to August 8 2026 (most likely will extend)

Overview:

The focus of this role is reviewing pre-screening forms IV placement and smaller exams like hip shoulders knees etc.

Must Have:

• Previous MRI Technologist experience required
• Siemens MRI equipment experience required; limited exposure acceptable with working knowledge preferred
• EPIC experience required
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and patient screening procedures
• Experience with IV placement preferred
• Excellent communication organizational and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and department protocols
• Review and verify MRI safety and pre-screening forms prior to procedures
• Safely perform IV placement and administer contrast when required
• Conduct routine and specialized MRI exams with a primary focus on smaller studies such as hips shoulders knees and extremities
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort
• Maintain accurate patient documentation within EPIC EMR system
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of MRI equipment and report any issues promptly
• Follow all MRI safety standards infection control guidelines and departmental policies
• Communicate effectively with patients families radiologists and healthcare team members
