JOB DESCRIPTION MRI Technologist
Location: Grafton WI 53024
Facility: Level III Trauma Center Level II NICU Primary Stroke Center
Beds: 16
Rooms: 2
COVID / Vaccination Requirements: As per facility policy

• High-acuity imaging environment

• MRI department with Siemens 3T & 1.5T magnets

• Patient-focused care with radiologist oversight

• Minimum Experience: 3 years

• First-Time Traveler: Considered upon review

• Patient Types: MRI patients

• Case Types: General MRI High-end exams Breast Prostate Cardiac

• Registered Technologist (RT) ARRT

• MRI Certification: ARRT MRI CAMRT MRI or ARMRIT

• BLS Required

• Advanced training beyond high school with completion of accredited or approved Radiologic Technology program

• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and magnetic safety

• Competent in IV and venipuncture (if required by facility)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently

• Intermediate computer skills

• EMR: EPIC

• MRI Equipment: Siemens 3T & 1.5T

• 1 shift on unit to learn workflow

• Weekend Rotation: Varies

• Time Off: 7 days approved

• Call: Varies

• Holiday Expectations: Varies

• Scrub Color: Any (no camo denim or logos)

• Parking: Free in lot
