Job Summary
This position is located at Qualified Recycled Program.

- Incentives will not be paid.
- Requires knowledge of the various forms and documents used for the issue receipt and storage of materials.
- Operates gasoline or diesel-powered vehicles both light and heavy on and off post to transport equipment and supplies. Operates a forklift as required.
- Observes time schedules and traffic / driving regulations
- Assists with loading and unloading cargo and materials
- Drives in a variety of driving situations such as congested highways metropolitan areas narrow country or mountain roads and steep winding grades
- Provides assistance and support to the staff in maintaining and upkeeping of the facility vehicles and equipment.
- Provides a variety of tasks involving the maintenance and minor repairs of vehicles and equipment including routine (i.e.. oil changes)
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Health and immunizations required. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Drug test is required. This position has critical safety or security responsibilities and as such has been designated as a testing designated position (TDP)
- A TDP is subject to a random drug test that occurs without suspicion that a particular individual is using illegal drugs.

A qualified candidate must possess the following:
Experience and training that equip the applicant with knowledge skills and abilities needed to perform the duties of this position consistent with accepted practices of the trade. Ability to use and maintain appropriate tools equipment and applicable vehicles based on gross weight (32000 pounds). Ability to read understand and apply instruction and other materials related to the job. Ability to do the work of the position under normal supervision.
Training/education or experience must include the following:
- Skill in operating vehicles over a variety of roads and assessing traffic conditions and hazards
- Knowledge and skill in basic vehicle and equipment maintenance and repairs
- Skill in using judgment to load and unload individuals or cargo/supplies clearances turning radius safe braking distances connect and disconnect air brakes and electrical lines as needed etc.
- Knowledge of vehicle safety regulations to determine when mechanical or operational problems indicate that vehicles are unsafe for operation.
- Required to possess/maintain a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL). *Must upload with application.
This job does not have an education qualification requirement.

- This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week -- whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time regular part-time and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM.
- Non-foreign overseas allowances cost of living (COLA) and differentials will not be paid contingent upon eligibility.

Required Experience:
IC
