Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mold Setter to join a fast-paced manufacturing team in Arnold MO. This is not an entry-level position candidates must have hands-on injection molding experience and be comfortable performing mold changes machine setup troubleshooting and supporting production efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Perform mold changes/setups on injection molding machines safely and efficiently
- Set and adjust machine parameters to ensure quality production output
- Start up and shut down molding machines as needed
- Troubleshoot molding process issues and make process adjustments to reduce downtime
- Install and remove molds connect water lines air lines and auxiliary equipment
- Verify first-piece quality and support production teams during startup
- Monitor machine performance and maintain cycle times
- Work closely with production and quality teams to meet schedules and quality standards
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and maintain a clean work area
- Follow all safety and manufacturing procedures
Qualifications:
- Required: Previous Injection Molding experience
- Prior experience as a Mold Setter Process Technician or Injection Mold Technician
- Experience performing mold changes and machine setup independently
- Ability to troubleshoot molding defects and process issues
- Comfortable reading work instructions and production documentation
- Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift molds/tools and work in a manufacturing environment
- Reliable transportation required
