Job Summary

Mobile Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Fort Wayne IN
Pay Range: $25$29/hour upon full-time conversion

Join a growing facilities maintenance team supporting a large commercial environment where no two days are the same. We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Mechanic with strong mechanical aptitude a team-first mindset and experience working on building systems and commercial kitchen equipment.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting working independently and building a long-term career in facility maintenance.

What Youll Do

Perform general building maintenance and repairs
Support HVAC/R maintenance including coil and evaporator cleaning
Repair and maintain commercial kitchen equipment including:
- Meat grinders
- Meat slicers
- Meat saws
- Cubers and related food equipment
Handle minor plumbing and basic electrical repairs
Replace lighting components including bulbs and ballasts
Assist with painting locksmith work and additional facility repairs
Respond to maintenance requests and support emergency after-hours calls when needed
Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment
Document completed work and maintenance activities

What Were Looking For

At least 1 year of experience in maintenance mechanical repair plumbing electrical or commercial equipment repair
Experience working on commercial kitchen or food service equipment is a strong plus
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Mechanical and electrical aptitude
Valid drivers license required
High school diploma or GED required
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and work from ladders up to 30 feet
