Job Duties:
Operates Mobile Crane/Draglines (lifting capacity >40000 lbs. but <80000 lbs.) or the pile driving operations.
Operates heavy equipment as needed.
Performs various road and bridge maintenance and general labor duties such as flagging patching pot holes and full depth patches in bridge decks cleaning storm drains and any other needed road and bridge construction and/or maintenance as directed by supervisor.
Attends required training in accordance with the departments structured training program.
Provides guidance to and oversees work of lower level operators acts as lead worker and completes daily work reports for the crew in the absence of the foreman. Maintains a Class A CDL; reports CDL revocation to appropriate personnel in accordance with the departments Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Policy (PPM#25).
May be required to perform other duties as necessary including but not limited to emergency/disaster support activities.
This position requires a Class A CDL before appointment.

MOBILE EQUIPMENT OPERATOR 2/HEAVY:
Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) will be required upon appointment. The starting salary for MEO-2/HEAVY will be $22.52/hourly.
