- Assist with the design development and maintenance of Android mobile applications.
- Support application development using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Contribute to user interface implementation and application feature development.
- Learn and apply modern mobile architecture and software development best practices.
- Support the development of mobile applications that communicate with embedded systems.
- Assist with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication and connectivity testing.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve issues related to device communication and application performance.
- Gain exposure to connected product ecosystems and smart technology solutions.
- Assist with unit testing debugging and troubleshooting mobile applications.
- Support code quality initiatives and software testing activities.
- Participate in application validation and bug resolution efforts.
- Help document technical findings development processes and testing results.
- Collaborate with software engineers and cross-functional teams on development projects.
- Participate in code reviews agile development activities and project discussions.
- Support project planning task tracking and technical documentation.
- Contribute to special projects that provide exposure to different aspects of software and mobile application development.
- Support feature development testing and optimization efforts for the Prism mobile application.
- Assist with user interface enhancements and connectivity improvements.
- Contribute to application development activities that improve the user experience and functionality of the Core mobile platform.
- Support troubleshooting testing and ongoing feature enhancements.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Computer Engineering or a related field.
- Basic programming proficiency in Kotlin Java C or a similar programming language.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and software development fundamentals.
- Basic understanding of mobile application development concepts.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Basic understanding of software testing debugging and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies and development tools quickly.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with strong attention to detail.
- Hands-on experience developing mobile applications used in connected technology environments.
- Exposure to modern Android development tools frameworks and software engineering practices.

Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Entry Level.
Developing professional knowledge in the area of expertise. Solid written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $22.50 $25/hour. This rate is based on the interns current year in their respective university programs. Graduate students may receive a higher rate of pay based on their year in school. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
