Mobile Applications Developer II

The Mobile Applications Developer IIis responsible for the development and maintenance of our suite of mobile applications. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design develop and deliver high-quality mobile applications. The candidate should have experience in developing applications for iOS and/or Android platforms. They should be able to work independently and as part of a team.

This position will serve Rheem North America located in Roswell GA (Onsite).

• Design and develop mobile applications for the Android and/or iOS platforms
• Develop and improve software architecture testing strategies developer tooling and UX for our mobile applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features
• Work with product managers and QA to support validation activities
• Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality
• Continuously discover evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Participate in the development of technical documentation
• Works undersomesupervision of department leadership with independence on projects in scope.

• 3 years of experience in mobile apps development
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent training and experience
• Proficient in Swift and/or Kotlin
• Experience with modern mobile app development frameworks (e.g. SwiftUI Jetpack Compose)
• Understanding of software development methodologies including Agile and Scrum
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Strong critical thinking skills and a keen attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of across-functional team (e.g. product managers engineers business teams) and external subject matter experts
• Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a team environment
• Experience with LLM coding agents

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform or other cross-platform mobile app development frameworks
• Experience with cloud technologies and services such as AWS Azure or Firebase
• Experience with IOT and smart connected products (Bluetooth and Wi-Fi APIs)
• Experience with mobile app security best practices
• Experience with mobile app analytics
• Experience with testing frameworks
• HVAC / Water Heating industry experience
