Job Summary
- Ensure accuracy quality and timeliness of laboratory testing.
- Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Quality control quality assurance and proficiency testing programs.
- Perform laboratory testing and other bench duties as needed.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance inventory and laboratory supplies.
- Collaborate with providers and other departments to support patient care.
- Participate in the laboratory call rotation including evenings weekends and holidays.
- Bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
- MLS (ASCP) MT (ASCP) or equivalent certification required.
- Must be eligible for and obtain state laboratory licensure within 30 days of employment.
- Previous clinical laboratory experience required..
