Responsibilities include:

• Translate engineering designs and sketches into detailed 3D models drawings and assemblies using Creo/Windchill
• Create and maintain detail part drawings assembly drawings and installation drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards
• Develop and update interface control documents (ICDs) under the direction of design engineers
• Perform basic tolerance stack-up checks and drawing reviews to ensure manufacturability and dimensional accuracy
• Support engineering change requests (ECRs/ECOs) by updating drawings models and associated documentation
• Maintain configuration control and version management of CAD models and drawings within Windchill PLM
• Collaborate with design engineers manufacturing engineers and quality teams to resolve drawing discrepancies and fabrication issues
• Support first-article inspection and production by clarifying drawing intent and dimensional requirements
• Ensure drawings comply with company standards industry codes and customer requirements
• Assist in creating and maintaining bill of materials (BOMs) for structural assemblies

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience creating detailed drawings and models for aircraft spacecraft or launch vehicle structures
• Proficiency with Creo (Pro/E) and Windchill 10
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and application (ASME Y14.5)
• Experience creating detail part drawings assembly drawings and installation drawings for metallic and/or composite structures
• Familiarity with fastener callouts weld symbols and standard hardware representation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret engineering intent from sketches models and verbal direction
• Ability to earn trust maintain positive and professional relationships and contribute to a culture of inclusion
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Desired:

• Experience with configuration management processes and PLM systems (Windchill preferred)
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes for metallic and composite structures (machining forming layup/cure)
• Experience supporting first-article inspection (FAI) and production floor troubleshooting
• Understanding of material call-outs and basic material compatibility considerations
• Experience working in a regulated aerospace environment (AS9100 or similar)
