Mitigation Technicians help property owners recover after water damage fire damage mold issues storms floods and other unexpected property emergencies. This is hands-on work. You will be on job sites moving equipment removing damaged materials cleaning affected areas setting up drying equipment and helping restore homes and businesses after difficult situations.

What You Will Do
As a Mitigation Technician you will support field crews on restoration job sites. Responsibilities may include:
- Assist with water fire mold storm and property damage cleanup
- Remove damaged materials such as drywall flooring insulation and contents
- Set up and monitor drying equipment including air movers and dehumidifiers
- Help load unload and move equipment and materials
- Perform demolition cleanup and job site preparation
- Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment
- Communicate professionally with team members supervisors and customers
- Keep job sites clean organized and safe
- Take photos notes or basic job documentation as directed
- Help protect customer property during restoration work
- Respond with urgency when emergency jobs come in
- Learn industry standards tools equipment and restoration processes

Requirements
Qualified candidates should have:
- Valid drivers license preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift carry push and pull materials and equipment
- Comfort working on your feet for extended periods
- Willingness to work in homes businesses crawlspaces basements and damaged properties
- Ability to follow directions and work safely
- Strong reliability and punctuality
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to pass background check and/or drug screening if required
- Previous restoration construction demolition moving warehouse landscaping maintenance janitorial or labor experience is helpful but not required
Physical Requirements
This is a physically active position. Candidates should be comfortable with:
- Lifting up to 50 pounds
- Standing walking bending kneeling reaching and climbing
- Working in wet dusty dirty hot cold or damaged environments
- Wearing PPE when required
- Loading and unloading equipment
- Performing demolition and cleanup tasks
- Working around drying equipment tools and job site materials
