MIG Structural Steel Welder

We are currently hiring a Certified MIG Structural Steel Welder in San Jose CA! Pay is $73.66 per hour and were looking for someone who can start as soon as possible. Candidates must have at least 5 years of welding experience a valid AWS or LA City (LADBS) welding certification and hands-on experience using NR-232 flux-core wire on heavy structural steel. • Perform MIG/flux-core wire welding on heavy structural steel beams.
• Weld in multiple positions including vertical and overhead (3G/4G).
• Perform pipe welding and fitting as needed.
• Perform production and industrial welding tasks.
• Grind prepare and fit metal components for welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints welding symbols and technical specifications.
• Ensure welds meet quality standards and pass required inspections.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow OSHA and site-specific safety procedures.

• At least 5 years of hands-on welding experience.
• Experience welding heavy structural steel using .068-inch NR-232 flux-core wire.
• Valid AWS or LA City (LADBS) welding certification.
• Current welding certification covering the required welding positions including vertical and overhead (3G/4G).
• Must provide their own PPE and basic welding tools.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid drivers license.
