Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION and DUTIES:
- Provide a welcoming office environment to students parents community and staff.
- Work collaboratively with other office staff teachers and other school personnel.
- Provide support to the Principalas needed.
- Assist with answering phones and greeting the public.
- Arrange for substitute teachers and classified personnel.
- Skyward Entry of all student information and records.
- Skyward Compile necessary information and generate reports as required
- Enroll students through the calendar year and provide monthly enrollment reports.
- Insure the timely transmittal of student information including transcripts and proof of graduation to other entities as required.
- Maintain student files
- Compile and mail progress reports and student report cards
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent (Associates Degree Preferred)
- Successfully complete competency testing as required.
- Valid Washington State Drivers License
- Must possess exceptional organizational skills as well as excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills with a wide range of individuals
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office or similar.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT and Salary:
A typical school year consists of200 days plus holidays Mid August through June of each school year. The individual number of days may vary by position as defined within the CBA.
The salary range for the position is:Min $21.70 Max $ qualifying for the special duty pay as defined within the contract earn an additional $1.50 per hour. Salary placement will be at step 1 on the scale for the position unless otherwise noted within the contract. CBAs and Salary Schedules can be reviewed from the Kettle Falls School District website at Falls policies and Procedures can be accessed online at employee shall accumulate twelve (12) days of sick leave per year. An employee employed less than a full work year shall be entitled to a proportionate part of the sick leave allowance. A maximum of three (3) days of annual leave are provided for all employees based on the employees scheduled employment hours per day to be used for an absence during work hours or to be accumulated for the purpose of cash out.
Verification of identity and United States work authorization must be completed before employment commences. The successful candidate for this position must be fingerprinted. Employment is contingent upon clearance by the Washington State Patrol and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
