POSITION: Physical Education Teacher Middle School

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with Physical Education endorsement or ability to obtain
• Current CPR First Aid and AED certification or willingness to obtain

PREFERENCES:

• Knowledge of Michigan Academic Standards for Health and Physical Education.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage student behavior and create a positive learning environment.
• Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to integrate instructional technology into teaching and assessment.
• Experience teaching Middle School students
• Bachelors degree or higher in Physical Education Kinesiology or related field
• Knowledge of child and adolescent development
• Commitment to equity inclusion and student success
