Middle School ELA Tutor Part Time

Job Summary
Duxbury Middle School is seeking exceptional applicants for the position of ELA tutor for the 2026-27 school year. The position works to support identified students who have literacy support needs for Tier 2 tutoring support in a small-group intervention model. This position will work no more than 19 hours per week with primary function during the academic support block (1:00-1:42 pm daily) and other literacy blocks.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree or higher from an accredited college or university
- Management skills that support learning
- Ability to collaborate in order to meet the needs of students
- Experience meeting the needs of diverse learners
- Ability to plan and implement lessons that are aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks for small group instruction
- Citizenship residency or work visa required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current teacher certification from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
