Middle School Art Teacher .5 FTE

Position Summary:
The Middle School Art Teacher will serve as a student-centered educator who is a learner and warm demander for all learners. Teacher will establish collaborative & impactful relationships with colleagues families and will understand and model best instructionalpractices serve as a member of a Professional Learning Community and ensure high levels of student must have a learner inclusionary and equity-focused mindset and see that their presence has an impact with students and our school environment.

Qualifications:
-Valid MN Art Teaching license.

-Student-centered mindset that models a commitment and belief around ensuring all students learn at high levels.

-Demonstrated use of research-based instructional & engagement strategies to meet the continuum of individual learning needs while using data and assessments to guide instructional decisions.

-Ability to integrate curriculum creativity and technology to design and facilitate a high-quality learning experience.

-Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues parents and students to achieve student learning results.

-Bilingual skills in Spanish or Somali desired.

Rate of Pay:
Based on candidates experience and education per the OEA Master Agreement.
