Mid Systems Engineer (NetApp LUNs Storage)

Belay Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer (SE2) to be the primary responsible SE to support the Security organization and will be performing SE duties for classified and unclassified network devices and systems and is responsible for maintaining the associated SSPs doing monthly scanning and patching of the work is done in Linux but some experience with Windows is desired as well.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

• TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
• Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity is required.
• Bachelors degree in System Engineering Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Science Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
• Also must have at least six (6) years of the following:
  • QA CM
  • Manage requirements and requirements process
  • Applying risk mgmt principles
  • System test programs
  • Troubleshooting monitoring
  • Scripting bash/python
  • System architecture
  • UNIX Linux Windows
  • MS Office

Candidates are required to have the following skills:

• Linux systems administration experience - must be comfortable with command line troubleshooting
• Windows Server
• Virtualization - VMWare
• Puppet Experience or able to learn quickly
• SSP Support - scanning patching keeping documentation up to date and support ATO activates
  

Candidates are desired to have the following skills:

• OrchidCore/OrchidFusion - understanding bandwidth resolution troubleshooting
• AWS or Cloud experience

Salary Range: $105000 to $200000
