Kentro is hiring for a cleared mid-level Software Engineer to support a government client.

Location: Onsite Saint Louis MO

• Research design and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions applying principles and techniques of computer science engineering and mathematical analysis.
• Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.
• May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements.
• May maintain databases within an application area working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.

• 5-7 years of relevant experience to include but not limited to:
  
  • Proficiency in at least one major language (Python Java C# Javascript)
  • Experience translating requirements into technical solutions
  • Experience in research design and development of software
  • Experience with testing deployment and maintenance
  • Experience developing system specifications and performance requirements
  • Experience with database design and maintenance
  • Experience in code reviews
  • Understanding of system integration (hardware/software interaction)

Clearance Requirement:

• Active TS/SCI clearance with willingness to take CI Polygraph
• Must be a US Citizen
