This role offers an excellent opportunity for a junior to mid-level developer to grow their ServiceNow expertise while working on diverse projects and learning from senior team members. The ideal candidate will have foundational ServiceNow experience and a strong desire to advance their technical Functions Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:The SNOW Developer will work under the guidance of senior developers and collaborate with business stakeholders to configure and customize the ServiceNow platform. This individual will contribute to development efforts learn best practices and support the delivery of ServiceNow modules and integrations. Principal responsibilities include but are not limited to:Configure and develop ServiceNow applications and modules primarily in ITSM and other platform capabilitiesDevelop and maintain workflows business rules UI policies client scripts and catalog itemsAssist with system integrations between ServiceNow and other applications using REST SOAP and integration toolsWrite and maintain clear well-documented code following established development standardsParticipate in requirement gathering sessions with business analysts and stakeholdersPerform unit testing and support user acceptance testing activitiesTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the ServiceNow platform with guidance from senior team membersParticipate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve development skillsAssist with platform upgrades testing and release management activitiesCreate and update technical documentation for configuration and customization workStay current with ServiceNow platform updates and participate in training opportunitiesSupport production incidents and service requests as neededSupport Agile development approach for feature and platform deliverySupport change management activities related to ServiceNow implementationEducation and Experience:Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field or equivalent work experienceMinimum 1-4 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experienceExperience with at least (2) full lifecycle ServiceNow implementations (Design through O&M)Experience working with at least one ServiceNow module (ITSM ITOM ITBM/SPM CSM HR or others)Practical experience with ServiceNow development tools and scriptingRequired Skills and Competencies:Working knowledge of JavaScript and ability to write functional scriptsUnderstanding of ServiceNow platform basics including tables forms lists and UI configurationExperience with ServiceNow development tools: Business Rules Client Scripts UI Policies Script Includes WorkflowsBasic understanding of web technologies: HTML CSS XML and JSONFamiliarity with REST and SOAP APIs and basic integration conceptsBasic understanding of ITIL processes (Incident Problem Change Service Request)Fundamental database concepts and querying capabilitiesAbility to follow technical documentation and coding standardsStrong willingness to learn and develop new technical skillsGood analytical and problem-solving abilitiesEffective communication skills with ability to ask clarifying questionsTeam player who collaborates well with othersAbility to manage time effectively and meet deadlinesAttention to detail and commitment to quality workCustomer service mindset with focus on user experienceAdaptability and openness to feedback and coachingSelf-motivated with ability to work with moderate supervisionSecurity Requirement:Ability to obtain a Public Trust Desired Skills and Competencies:ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or working toward certificationExposure to Service Portal or UI Builder developmentExperience with Flow DesignerFamiliarity with SNOW reporting and dashboardsExperience with SNOW Update Sets and source control conceptsUnderstanding of SNOW IntegrationHub basicsBasic knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologiesBasic project coordination or task management experienceExperience with ticketing or workflow systemsDemonstrated ability to learn technical concepts quicklyParticipation in ServiceNow community forums or user groupsTraining or documentation creation experienceBasic understanding of business process analysisProblem management and troubleshooting experienceOur Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
