Mid-Level Service Reliability Developer

The Digital Market Products team is looking for a Mid-Level Service Reliability Developer to join us in Seattle WA; Colorado Springs CO; Mesa AZ; Berkeley; MO; Fairfax VA; Chicago IL; North Charleston SC; Plano TX; or Long Beach CA.

We are looking for a Customer-Facing Specialist to champion the reliability performance and resilience of our mission-critical applications including customer portals e-commerce systems training platforms and global airline support tools.

This isnt a behind-the-scenes role. Youll sit at the intersection of technology and customer experience owning application uptime building automation for self-healing systems and directly communicating with internal stakeholders and airline customers when incidents arise.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provides consultation and leadership to identify evaluate and document complex computing system requirements

• Applies expertise related to architecture design build and test delivery systems and components

• Provides technical leadership to evaluate product usability affordability functionality security and performance to assess suitability for integration into delivery system environments

• Provides technical support and consultation for the implementation and usage of complex delivery systems

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3 years of experience of Atlassian Tools (Jira Confluence)

• 3 years of experience with designing and developing software for complex systems such as Distributed Systems Multi-Threaded and Multi-Process Applications and Client-server Architectures

• 3 years of experience with GitLab Azure DevOps and CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)

• 3 years of experience do you have with Java/Javascript/ThreeJS/WebGL/SpringBoot/Flask

• 3 years of experience in Incident Management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors degree or higher

• Experience with supporting complex applications or systems

• Experience with problem-solving including diagnosing and resolving complex network issues

• Experience with written and verbal communication to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

• Experience with maintaining thorough documentation and implementing repeatable processes
