Location:

Houston Texas. This is an in-person opportunity for an attorney who enjoys collaborating closely with colleagues and being actively involved with the team and its cases.

Note:

To be considered candidates must be licensed to practice law in Texas and have at least 2 years of litigation experience. We are especially interested in attorneys with meaningful tenure at prior firms a strong law school background and solid mid-level litigation experience.

Job Description

• Handle substantive legal research and analysis in support of complex commercial litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings motions briefs memoranda and other litigation documents.
• Analyze facts legal issues and case strategy with a high level of attention to detail.
• Support attorneys through all stages of litigation including discovery motion practice hearings and trial preparation.
• Coordinate research and document review projects with team leads and colleagues.
• Manage assignments independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and support teams.
• Communicate clearly respond promptly and maintain strong organization in a fast-paced practice.
• Contribute thoughtful analysis and practical solutions to challenging legal issues.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree and active Texas Bar admission.
• 2 years of litigation experience
• Strong legal research writing factual analysis and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail organization time management and interpersonal skills.
• Meaningful tenure and demonstrated stability at prior law firms.
• Strong law school credentials.
• Mock trial or moot court experience is a plus.

• 4 to 5 years $235K to $260K;
