Location:New York NY Hybrid. Enjoy working in our Manhattan office Monday through Thursday with remote flexibility on Fridays and additional designated periods throughout the year.

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Mid-Level Banking & Finance Associate Attorney to join our New York team. This is an exciting opportunity to expand your transactional expertise while working on complex high-impact corporate finance and lending this role you will:

• Advise clients on sophisticated corporate finance commercial lending and secured financing transactions.
• Draft review and negotiate credit agreements commitment papers security agreements and other financing documents.
• Handle matters involving the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) secured transactions and collateral arrangements.
• Conduct legal due diligence identify transaction risks and assist with structuring complex financing arrangements.
• Manage key aspects of financing transactions including document negotiation coordination and closings.
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys clients and financial institutions throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Apply general corporate law principles to support sophisticated financing transactions.
• Take ownership of meaningful responsibilities while strengthening your expertise in finance law.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• 4 years of transactional finance experience at a law firm.
• Hands-on experience drafting and negotiating credit agreements security agreements commitment papers or other loan documents.
• Knowledge of UCC secured transactions and general corporate law.
• Strong legal drafting negotiation analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex matters and work effectively with clients and legal teams.
• Excellent communication skills attention to detail and sound professional judgment.
• Experience at a reputable commercial law firm preferred.
• Strong academic credentials preferred.
