Mid Developer

Software Engineer responsible for supporting high-transactional operationally critical services driving cloud migration initiatives team mentorship and implementing DevOps practices including CI/CD pipeline management with Harness. The role leverages the frameworks Docker and AWS resources such as Aurora (MySQL) ECS Route 53 and Load Balancer.

Role: Mid Developer
Duration: 5 months with possible extension
Location: Houston TX hybrid onsite 3 days a week
Interview: Video and in person

Key Responsibilities

• Support & Operations
• Perform analysis and review of open tickets for the team
• Execute weekly core support activities on a rotational basis
• Triage and resolve production issues to ensure system stability
• Technical Leadership
• Build architectural diagrams and perform reverse engineering of legacy code
• Support cloud migration activities using AWS Services (Aurora ECS Route 53 Load Balancer)
• Lead initiatives to automate day-to-day problems using AI tools (GitHub Copilot)
• Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Harness and other DevOps tools
• Develop and deploy applications using Docker containers
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline deployment processes and improve system reliability
• DevOps & CI/CD Pipeline
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery
• Integrate Harness for automated deployments and pipeline orchestration
• Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline failures ensuring rapid resolution and minimal downtime
• Implement best practices for DevOps including infrastructure as code automated testing and deployment
• Collaboration & Mentorship
• Mentor team members and provide technical guidance
• Collaborate effectively with offshore resources
• Take ownership of technical solutions and drive implementation
