Job Summary:
Manages payroll operations for the organization ensuring compliance accuracy and timely delivery of employee compensation. Oversees payroll processes reporting and system functionality while providing leadership to the payroll team. Collaborates with people practices Finance and other stakeholders to implement payroll policies resolve complex issues and drive process and system improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Manages end-to-end payroll operations ensuring accuracy compliance and on-time processing.
Oversees payroll tax reporting reconciliations and filings in compliance with federal state and local regulations.
Leads manages develops and evaluates payroll team members to promote accuracy consistency and professional growth.
Collaborates with people practices and Finance leaders on payroll policy interpretation benefit deductions and system integrations.
Implements process improvements and technology enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Oversees payroll audits controls and compliance initiatives to reduce risk.
Monitors legislative changes affecting payroll operations and ensures timely updates to procedures and systems.
Education Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting finance business administration or a related field required.
Work Experience:
1012 years of progressive experience in payroll management or administration required including team leadership responsibilities.
Certifications and Licenses:
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) required.
