For more information visit follow us SUMMARYThe R&D Project Manager leads from the front applying hands-on technical expertise to drive projects through all medical device product lifecycle stages. This role ensures customer needs are met facilitates regular communication and maintains budget control. The PM fosters seamless collaboration between internal teams and customers to deliver best-in-class design and DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLeverage technical expertise to lead projects from discovery to design transfer taking ownership of key milestones and consistent information flow among team members management and and communicateproject risks such as changes to scope timeline and delegate and track tasks across internal teams and external partners (vendors clients) to ensure projects stay on schedule and within and track current project deliverables and ensure alignment with internal and external project plans outlining phases tasks dependencies timelines resource allocation and costs. Establish and track weekly monthly goals budgets and schedules for projects and team design reviews and risk management the planning coordination execution tracking and reporting using software tools like MS Project Smartsheet JIRA Proficiency with MS detailed project documentation throughout all phases of research and excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills with all levels of personnel and management. REPORTING STRUCTUREN/AREQUIRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEBachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical or Biomedical Engineering is desired Masters preferred1-3 years of medical device product design and development experienceFamiliarity with FDA and ISO 13485 medical device regulations and standardsWorking knowledge in one or more areas is desired:Technical areas (example: CAD modeling of housings; design of experiments PCBA development areas (example: interventional/diagnostic medical devices; intravascular devices; bioelectronics devices)Risk Management Manufacturing Quality and OperationsFinancial Budgetary Tracking and ReportingStrong communication are critical to the positionConcise timely and professional communications (verbal written) are a mustExpress ideas recommendations and solutions clearly logically and conciselyManagement of resourcesWell organized and uses time efficiently.
