Program Summary
KBR Metrology supports Honeywell Aerospace Otto Instruments Garrett Advance Motion and their suppliers with services including onsite/offsite laboratory visitstest equipment calibrationand repair AMS2750 pyrometry services metrology engineering andequipment inspection. They also offer preventative maintenance equipment sourcing CMM inspections automation and programming measurement technical supportcalibration recall system management andperformance tracking dashboards.
Job Summary
Metrology Technician II will provide day to day support for the Metrology Program Calibrating IMTE and guiding workflow with other technicians. Technician will be able to coordinate calibrations in house and out to vendors.
Roles and Responsibilities
Perform calibration and certification of electronic measuring and test equipment according to technical specifications ensuring traceability to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
Calibrate and repair equipment such as Multimeters frequency counter timers oscilloscopes pressure devices.
Calibrate standards used in calibrations and maintain equipment to established performance standards.
Record maintenance activities inCMS generate reports on results of tests conditions of equipment and/or systems repairs andpreventive maintenanceperformed and prepare necessary documentation as required by customer and regulatory requirements.
Utilize common laboratory measuring calibrating and test equipment.
Complete all other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications
High school diploma with 3 years of experience in the field OR associates degree in engineering technology or a relevant field with 3 years of experience.
Working knowledge of one or more of the following voltage current resistance capacitance time and frequency signal conditioning blueprint and drawingsdimensional toolingandhand toolspressure controllers pressure dead weight testersforce gagesandload cells etc.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software including Excel.
US citizenship is required for this role
Preferred Qualifications
IndySoftFluke Met/TeamFluke Met/TrackandMet/Calexperience a plus.
Proficient using Microsoft technology including Excel
PMEL TMDE or calibration school a plus
Specific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.
