HOURLY RATE: $28.60-$33.76

JOB SUMMARY:

Receiving handling issuing shipping inventorying all items of metering materials and equipment with the use of the ADM (meter inventory and tracking) system. Assist in issuing and shipping metering materials

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Receiving all shipments of new and old materials and supplies and checks them against records by device serial number on the ADM system.
  • Properly handling packing transport and storage of all types of metes and associated metering equipment.
  • Responsible for knowing the location of stock coded items and assist in shipping.
  • Prepare all metering equipment for testing and final calibration.
  • Assist in issuing requested materials and equipment by Service Center or Division in a timely manner.
  • Report the need for replenishment of stock items as requested.
  • Assist with the annual inventory in the Meter Lab.
  • Receive properly handle and coordinate disposal of hazardous waste with NASC Warehouse and environmental services.
  • Assist in generating and maintaining correct bar codes and bin locations on all appropriate metering equipment.
  • Become familiar with the Companys operating standards policies safety instructions and directives pertaining to the assignments
  • Perform other appropriate duties as directed.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • Meet the time-in-grade requirement for the Agreement and pass the required progression exams.
  • Have a working knowledge of metering M&S Codes as well as the SAP equivalent MID IDs. And the MMS Stock coded Items and their MID IDs.
  • Able to operate mechanical equipment to move and store materials and equipment.

INITIATIVE/RESPONSIBLITY:

  • Familiar with safety and OSHA requirements and perform work accordingly.
  • Able to work independently and plan daily work efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Thoroughly familiar with the location of all items.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMNENTS:

  • Lifting / carrying up to 80 lbs.
  • Normal physical Dexterity
  • Ability to work in environments exposed to fumes/gases/chemicals. Dust and fine operation and proximity to moving machinery.

MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Accurate with numbers.
  • Ability to work with others.
  • Ability to work around others.
  • Ability to work under deadlines
  • Working knowledge of ADM
  • Working knowledge of SAP
