Were partnering with a growing manufacturer of custom-engineered air handling and filtration systems to add a Metal Fabrication Technician to their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on fabrication work in a clean climate-controlled shop with opportunities to learn new skills and grow within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brakes shears saws punches and other sheet metal fabrication equipment.
• Fabricate precision components from blueprints drawings and work instructions.
• Perform quality inspections using calipers tape measures and other precision measuring tools.
• Complete machine setups and make adjustments to ensure quality production.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and maintain a clean organized work area.
• Assist with material handling packaging and other production tasks as needed.
• Follow safety and quality standards while producing high-quality fabricated parts.

Qualifications

• Experience in sheet metal fabrication or metal manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience operating press brakes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Dependable with a positive team-oriented attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• CNC fabrication equipment experience.
• Router table experience.
• Machine setup and basic programming adjustments.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
