CW is hiring Mess Attendant/Food Service Worker to help keep military dining areas clean organized and running smoothly. No experience is requiredjust reliability a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Well train you every step of the way:Set up dining areas serving lines beverage stations and condiment bars before meal food portions to personnel in a courteous efficient and regulationcompliant cleanliness of the galley including wiping counters sanitizing surfaces and cleaning dishwashing machines and manually wash pots pans utensils trays and foodservice sort and dispose of waste recyclables and food scraps according to sanitation serving lines dining supplies utensils napkins and beverage stations throughout meal mop and maintain floors in the galley scullery and dining areas to ensure a safe with receiving deliveries by moving boxes storing supplies and rotating stock using FIFO dry storage refrigerators and freezers to maintain cleanliness and strict sanitation hygiene and foodsafety regulations at all dining areas for cleanliness table turnover and readiness for incoming equipment malfunctions safety hazards or sanitation concerns to supervisory cooks and supervisors by completing assigned cleaning restocking and endofshift with special events highvolume meal periods and inspection readiness tasks as in the Life of a Mess Attendant/Food Service Worker at CW:Start your shift by setting up your work area gathering supplies and preparing the dish sort and rinse dirty dishes from the dining and service dishes through the commercial dish machine and handwash pots and pans that need extra and put away clean dishes so theyre ready for the next the galley clean by sweeping mopping wiping surfaces and removing food scraps throughout the trash and recycling replace liners and follow proper disposal the dining area between meals by wiping tables refilling condiments and restocking napkins and with mealservice setup by stocking trays utensils cups and other serving supervisor instructions to maintain military sanitation and safety with your team during busy meal times to keep service running your shift by completing final cleaning tasks putting away supplies checking out with your supervisor and leaving the area ready for the next Youll Need to Be Successful:No experience No problem.
