ð What Youll Do

As our Mentoring Volunteer Coordinator youll lead efforts to recruit engage and support volunteers who make a meaningful impact on children and families.

Community Engagement & Volunteer Leadership
  • Build and maintain relationships with schools community organizations businesses and local partners
  • Develop and implement volunteer recruitment strategies
  • Recruit screen onboard train and support volunteers
  • Match volunteers with meaningful opportunities
  • Promote volunteer programs through community outreach and networking
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteer inquiries
Program Coordination
  • Coordinate volunteer activities projects and special events
  • Track volunteer participation hours and program outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records reports and volunteer databases
  • Create volunteer training materials and newsletters
  • Facilitate ongoing communication with school staff community partners and CHS team members
Team Collaboration
  • Partner with program staff to identify volunteer needs
  • Contribute to a positive and engaging work environment
  • Assist with special projects and organizational initiatives
  • Represent CHS and our values in every interaction

â Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Florida Drivers License within 30 days of hire
  • Daily access to a reliable insured vehicle
  • Two years of related work experience
  • One year of experience working with children and families
Preferred
  • Experience in social services
  • Experience working with community organizations or partners
  • Volunteer management or community outreach experience
