MedTech Field Service Tech Remediation Central Time Zone

In this role you will collaborate with healthcare professionals going to hospital to perform software upgrade for automated medication dispensing devices.

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation configuration and updates for medical devices software and networking systems.
• Conduct routine checks to verify proper functionality after setup.
• Troubleshoot device and network issues resolving technical problems independently or escalating complex cases.
• Follow calibration protocols for servicing equipment
• Educate healthcare staff on device utilization and software functionality.
• Maintain compliance with hospital vendor credentialing requirements.

Requirements:

• Ability to travel extensively for field-based service assignments.
• Associate degree in biomedical IT electronics or a related field preferred.
• 1 year of technical experience required; 3 years in a field technician role preferred.
• Experience in IT support electronics biomedical engineering or pharmacy technology is a plus.
• Must maintain personal parts inventory sourcing from approved vendors.

Assignments and Shifts

• Assignment based position requiring open availability MondayFriday; work occurs 2832 hours per week plus travel time.
• Position requires some nights and weekends based on customer needs.
• Travel is regional national and local with work scheduled during weekdays.
• Duties may require compliance with hospital vaccine and credentialing requirements.
