Medium duty truck mechanic

Thomas Sales & Service Ford is seeking a skilled Medium Duty Truck Mechanic to join our team in Madras OR. This role involves diagnosing repairing and maintaining medium duty trucks to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. • Perform inspections diagnostics and repairs on medium duty trucks.
• Maintain and service engines transmissions brakes and other vehicle components.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce future repairs and downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality work and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

• Proven experience as a Medium Duty Truck Mechanic or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of medium duty truck systems including engines brakes and hydraulics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid drivers license and the ability to lift heavy parts and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Competitive hourly wage ranging from $45.00 to $90.00 paid semi-monthly.
