Location: Honolulu Hawaii
Pay Rate: $34/hr $38/hr
Shift: Rotating 8-hour shifts
Schedule: Weekends and holiday coverage required
Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours/week
Experience: Minimum 5 years required

We are seeking an experienced Medical Technologist for a laboratory opportunity in Honolulu Hawaii. This role is ideal for a skilled lab professional who can perform accurate testing support timely results and work effectively in a hospital-based medical laboratory setting.
Responsibilities

Perform laboratory testing and analysis according to established procedures

Ensure accurate specimen handling processing and result reporting

Maintain quality control and follow laboratory safety standards

Support timely diagnostic results for patient care teams

Operate laboratory equipment and troubleshoot issues as needed

Document testing activity accurately using Cerner

Work rotating shifts weekends and holidays as scheduled
Requirements

Active Hawaii license required

Minimum 5 years Medical Technologist experience required

ASCP AMT HEW or equivalent laboratory certification preferred/required per facility needs

BLS/BCLS required if applicable

Must be able to work rotating shifts and weekends

Holiday coverage required as needed

Strong accuracy organization and attention to detail required
