Responsibilities:
- Responsible for obtaining and verifying medication history in the electronic medical record in an accurate and timely manner in compliance with standard procedures and regulatory standards.
- Responsible for accurately documenting medication lists into the electronic health record communicating to the verifying pharmacist and relaying any outstanding transition of care issues to the pharmacist and/or provider in a timely manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Other / Certificate Completion of a formalized Technician Training Program. Preferred
- >10 months pharmacy technician experience or completion of a formalized technician training program. Required
- Retail pharmacy experience and/or excellent customer service skills Preferred
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) - Certification Current license by AZ State Board of Pharmacy. Required
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) - Certification Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) issued by Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). Required
- Pharmacy Technician (LPT) - License Pharmacy Technician Diploma Preferred
