Location: Haddon Heights NJ primarily on-site with some flexibility for hybrid arrangements depending on the candidate and specific circumstances.

Note: Candidates must be licensed to practice law in New Jersey and have 2 years of litigation experience with at least 1 year of experience in medical malpractice personal injury general liability or healthcare litigation strongly preferred. Job Description

• Defend complex medical malpractice claims from inception through resolution.
• Manage litigation matters deadlines case strategy and day-to-day client needs.
• Conduct legal research and develop persuasive litigation strategies.
• Draft pleadings motions briefs discovery responses correspondence and other legal documents.
• Participate in discovery depositions negotiations hearings and other litigation proceedings.
• Analyze medical records liability issues damages and case-related evidence.
• Communicate effectively with clients opposing counsel experts and other legal professionals.
• Work independently while collaborating closely with experienced attorneys and the broader legal team.
• Take initiative think creatively and identify practical solutions to challenging litigation issues.

Qualifications

• New Jersey Bar admission required.
• 2 years of litigation experience.
• 1 year of experience in medical malpractice personal injury general liability or healthcare litigation preferred.
• Strong legal research writing organization and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple matters deadlines and priorities.
• Strong judgment initiative attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Pennsylvania Bar admission is preferred but not required.
