Description

We are seeking a part-time Medical Director to provide physician leadership and clinical oversight for a long-term care facility in Paulding Ohio.

Responsibilities

Serve as the facilitys attending physician leader and oversee resident medical care
Develop review and approve clinical policies procedures and care protocols
Take part in QAPI infection control and pharmacy/therapeutics committees
Work with the Administrator Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team on resident outcomes
Support regulatory compliance and survey readiness under CMS and Ohio requirements
Act as a clinical resource for attending physicians nurse practitioners and nursing staff

Requirements

MD or DO with an active unrestricted Ohio medical license
Long-term care experience required
Board certification in Internal Medicine Family Medicine or Geriatrics preferred
