Job Summary
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training.
Certification: Must actively maintain MA certification.
Additional minimum requirement(s) only for Hospital Outpatient Departments
- Certification(s): BLS (Basic Life Support)
Overview:
- Collaborates in the workflow of the clinic and the assessment of patient/significant other in a timely consistent and systematic manner. Documents subjective and objective data according to policy.
- Demonstrates effective patient safety techniques and infection control.
- Works as part of the clinic team in an effective and efficient manner to accomplish daily objectives.
Medical Assistant:
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience preferably in a primary care office.
Certified Medical Assistant:
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Certification: Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA CCMA CMA). Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire
